Linda Henderson is new to the art world, only beginning to learn after she retired from 30 years working as a financial analyst/auditor primarily in the oil and gas industry. Linda began by taking several watercolor classes from Cynthia Reid at Lone Star College – Montgomery. While at Lone Star, several of Linda’s paintings were included in the Swirl publication. Linda was an active member and officer of Woodlands Art League until her situation necessitated that she return to work. Following her second retirement she again followed her creative side and love of art and started painting again and has taken lessons from Conroe Art League teacher, Carrie Albritton.

And a wonderful feeling when someone actually wants one of your paintings. I was just thrilled when my nephew Sam asked for my painting of the sneakers. He said it just spoke to him
