Reva Power is a watercolor artist and signature member of Watercolor Art Society Houston (WAS-H).

She retired from teaching mathematics and computer science to focus on learning more about her passion: watercolor.  Her studies began with Eldon Farries and Shirey Sterling.  In addition, she has taken many advanced workshops held at WAS-H lead by  both local and nationally acclaimed artists such as Arne Western, Steven Quiller, Don Getz, Frank Webb, John Salminen, Judy Morris, Judi Betts, Lauren McCracken and numerous others. She has offered watercolor classes, workshops, and private lessons in the Houston and South County area for years and shows her award winning work work in many venues. Locally, she is a core member of DaVinci Artists Gallery in Tomball.

Artists statement: “A person is not born a watercolor artist, but can be taught the principals and elements of design.  With practice and encouragement the student can learn to apply techniques and strategies to create sharable watercolor  art."
